Hi all! I wanted to check in and see how all of you are and how the plants are fairing on your land this year? I had a flood early season and lost about 20 acres of viable land, half our land, so that was a shot in the leg. But then I had a neighbor who has amazing plants and we are sharecropping. Our plants are happy and full ladies with brilliant green tones. Our other late sewn plants…ehhhh not so great. Michigan is humid and hot as blazes this year which really impacted our growth ratio. All said and done I think 10K plants was a good first year for us and we are excited to move forward by planning our 2020 grow now. Harvesting is planned and labor and location secured. How is your farm? I’m all ears! Odd sidebar…did anyone else in corn and soybean country see a huge drop in farming this year? Yikes
