    Seedlings pros:
    Cost effective
    Easy to propagate
    Taproot
Lack of susceptibility to mold, pathogens and pests
Clean slate start, no systemic issues

    Clones pros:
    More genetic consistency
    Uniformity
    Similar volume yield and appearance

    Clones cons:
    Less cost effective
    Slightly more difficult
    Harder to acclimate
    Hardening off
80% success rate at scale for cloning is considered good

What are people’s opinions on starting from seed or starting from clones? Any cons for seedlings?
How could future cloning technology improve the clone success rate?
How have people dealt with seeds that are mite infested/pathogen infested?
